Representing all the 538 cities in Georgia GMA is an official foundation comprising of a 66-member Board of Directors including city officials that govern it. The staff of full time employees along with the Executive Director thrive hard for the program's implementation . The Georgia Municipal Association aims to foresee the forces shaping Georgia?s cities, bring about a positive change and to provide leadership, effective tools and services that assist municipal governments to become more innovative, effective and responsive.
The summit covers the important aspects of economic development, municipal taxes and community development, transportation through training session during the course of the 5 days. It is a perfect opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of effective local governance through continuing education courses. It also features demonstrations and presentations by experts panelists.
