African Fine Coffee Conference & Exhibition is going to be organised at serena hotel, Kampala, Uganda from 17 Feb 2021 to 19 Feb 2021 This expo is going to be a 2 day event. This event forays into categories like Food & Beverages, Tea & Coffee.

The African Coffee Conference & Exhibition is one of the largest platforms for coffee trade in Africa. It is an opportunity for the coffee producers, roasters, traders and professionals to come together and discuss on various aspects of the industry. It is organized annually by African Fine Coffee Association (AFCA), founded in 2000. It is a non–profit and non-political organization spread across 11 countries of Africa for companies working in coffee sectors. Its mission is to enhance the market recognition of the industry. This organization aims at enhancement of the product quality as well as the market linkages. 

The event brings together more than 2000 regional and international coffee businesses. The 2017 conference would be the 15th edition of this large event. The conference would witness various renowned speakers and discourse on the development of the coffee sectors and other facets. It does not only focus on workshop and discussion but also includes coffee field visits and recreational activities. Field visits are organized in the nearby coffee fields to enlighten about the new innovations in the growing and harvesting process. Another major event is the business – to – business matchmaking which involves appointments of 15 – 30 with 43 invited companies from 11 countries of Africa. The prime attraction of this conference is the African Barista Challenge. The Barista Battle aims at bringing together the barista champions of Africa with the objective of bettering them at the profession. It is witnessed in large numbers and is an interesting part of the conference.

The conference provides various opportunities to grab sponsorships and interact with companies. Many acclaimed speakers talk about the budding coffee sector in Africa. The contribution of women in coffee is also a key part of the event. You can get the taste of the harvest in a special program which displays the best 3 coffee samples from different countries.
